Corrections and right of reply
If you are an institution named here
Write to hello@fightmybank.com. We will review the response and the materials supporting it, and we will publish any substantive response in full and unedited, on the page it concerns, in the same type as everything else on it.
We do not seek permission before publishing a documented account, and we do not give advance notice. What is owed is a route to reply and an undertaking that the reply is published whole. That is this page.
What changes a published entry
A document. Disagreement is not by itself a reason to change a documented fact; a document that contradicts one is. Where a response or a record shows that something published here is wrong, we correct it quickly and in the open, and we say who identified it.
How a correction appears
Entries are never edited after publication and never quietly removed. A correction is a new dated entry that names the entry it supersedes, and both stay visible. This is enforced in the database, not by convention: the case-event table is append-only and rejects updates and deletes outright.
Several entries on the current docket are corrections of our own earlier work, filed that way.
What this publication does not do
It records a right being invoked, what the law requires in response, what was sent, and whether it answered what was asked. It does not decide whether anyone broke the law, and nothing here should be read as saying so. That is for a regulator or a court. If one reaches a determination, it is published here with the same prominence as everything else.
